Hi All! It's hard to believe May has gone by so fast. It was definitely a packed month for us. To celebrate the last day of my favorite month, I was finally able to go buy a new phone and then we went to the driving range and Brody got to try out his golf clubs. We gave him a set of clubs for Christmas this past year and he loves playing with them! I must say, at the risk of sounding silly, I think we have the next Tiger Woods on our hands. Keep your fingers crossed for us, we all know Pro Golfers make bank so that'd be great if he actually turned out to be good at the sport. We started out this gloomy Sunday by heading to church. Then, we met Grandma and Grandpa at our favorite breakfast place, Al's Cafe. My favorite part of the day was heading to AT&T to pick out my new blackberry! After that, we were off to work on our little monkey's putting and chipping skills. Jeff was happy because he got to hit a bucket of balls too and perfect his swing with his new driver and 3 wood. All in all, it was a fabulous May grey day!

Hello All who still follow this blog. I have come to realize I need to get better at updating this thing. Since the last update, a lot has happened. On May 18th Jeff went on leave from the Marine Corps. He is now essentially done with his Marine Corps career. On Monday, June 1st he will be starting his new job as a Electronic Technician still on Camp Pendleton though. Talk about as easy transition :]. Brody is now 17 months old. It's crazy how time flies. He began walking at around 15 and a half months and now is onto the running stage. He recently has become "Mr. Independent." He wants to do everything on his own, including buckling his own car seat and walking everywhere without holding anyone's hand. The attitude has also been kicking in. Boy, I can't wait for the "terrible twos." This past week Jeff and I went on a cruise to Catalina aboard the lovely Carnival Elation. Unfortunately, this cruise did not quite live up to what we had expected. When we came back from the cruise, Grandma has taught Brody how to say "cracker" and "please." It's rather nice to come back to a child that now has manners. He really enjoyed staying with Grandma and hanging out with Auntie Naya and cousin Brad. He came home kind of lost because he was so used to the action of the dogs at Grandma's house and wrestling around with Brad. Here are some pictures to catch everyone up!
