Happy two years to us! June 16th 2007 we got hitched and now two years later we have a beautiful little monkey Brody! I cannot believe how fast time flies by. In the past two years so much has happened! Words cannot describe how lucky I am to have such an amazing husband. He puts up with all of my annoying habits and treats me like a princess! Hi all! So this past week has been pretty busy and fun filled for us! Last Thursday, Brody went to have a sleepover at my sister, Tenaya's house. Him and my nephew, Brad, had a ton of fun! We have decided to do weekly sleepovers so they can something to look forward too. Friday, we took a walk along the coast and then went out for pizza after. Saturday, was a pretty boring day but we did go to the driving range again. Brody sat in his stroller and ate goldfish and watched Jeff golf! On tuesday, Brad came over to our house to stay the night with us! They had lots of fun. Brody for some reason kept calling Brad, Bob.. haha oh what 17 month old's say! Yesterday, I got my new pink laptop in! It's perfect and tiny. Love it! That's all for now! enjoy the billion pictures :)

Quinny Zapp!

So Sunday I received my long awaited package of Brody's newest stroller to add for to the collection. You may ask why he needs another? We needed one for Theme Park trips that was tiny to fold up and lightweight, the zapp fit that description perfectly. Brody is in love with his newest wheels! It seems to be rather comfortable for him. Here are some pictures, enjoy.

Please Keep Brody in your Prayers.

So for the past few days since we got home from the cruise I noticed that Brody was crossing his eyes. At first, I did not think anything of it, I played it off as oh he just figured out how to do that so I'll just tell him to stop and he will. But then he did not stop. My mom also informed me that he was doing the same thing (crossing his eyes) while he was staying with her when we were on our cruise. I called the nurse and asked if I should be concerned and she said it would be good to just bring him in. So we went to the doctor's today, and within 2 seconds of walking in the door she told me it was not good. He either has a muscle problem in one of his eyes or he is extremely farsighted and cannot compensate anymore so he is just focusing with one eye. Either way, they are not good. He will either have to get surgery or wear glasses. I guess there has been signs but I never really thought anything of it, until now. He has to hold books extremely close in order to look at them and if he ever pays attention to the tv he will actually walk up to it and put his face about 3 inches away and watch from there. I feel like I am overreacting but just the thought of my sweet baby having to go through surgery horrifies me! You all know as mothers you just want your child to be happy and healthy and I feel like this is going to be such a big thing to overcome you know. So I would greatly appreciate prayers for Brody. We will be going to a Children Ophthalmologist next week to get a final diagnosis and instructions on where to proceed from here. You can see in this picture how they cross.

Lost Video

So I found this video of Brods being super silly on Mother's Day. I thought I would share, enjoy!

Gotta Get my Jacket Zipped.

Hi All! It's hard to believe May has gone by so fast. It was definitely a packed month for us. To celebrate the last day of my favorite month, I was finally able to go buy a new phone and then we went to the driving range and Brody got to try out his golf clubs. We gave him a set of clubs for Christmas this past year and he loves playing with them! I must say, at the risk of sounding silly, I think we have the next Tiger Woods on our hands. Keep your fingers crossed for us, we all know Pro Golfers make bank so that'd be great if he actually turned out to be good at the sport. We started out this gloomy Sunday by heading to church. Then, we met Grandma and Grandpa at our favorite breakfast place, Al's Cafe. My favorite part of the day was heading to AT&T to pick out my new blackberry! After that, we were off to work on our little monkey's putting and chipping skills. Jeff was happy because he got to hit a bucket of balls too and perfect his swing with his new driver and 3 wood. All in all, it was a fabulous May grey day!

Hello All who still follow this blog. I have come to realize I need to get better at updating this thing. Since the last update, a lot has happened. On May 18th Jeff went on leave from the Marine Corps. He is now essentially done with his Marine Corps career. On Monday, June 1st he will be starting his new job as a Electronic Technician still on Camp Pendleton though. Talk about as easy transition :]. Brody is now 17 months old. It's crazy how time flies. He began walking at around 15 and a half months and now is onto the running stage. He recently has become "Mr. Independent." He wants to do everything on his own, including buckling his own car seat and walking everywhere without holding anyone's hand. The attitude has also been kicking in. Boy, I can't wait for the "terrible twos." This past week Jeff and I went on a cruise to Catalina aboard the lovely Carnival Elation. Unfortunately, this cruise did not quite live up to what we had expected. When we came back from the cruise, Grandma has taught Brody how to say "cracker" and "please." It's rather nice to come back to a child that now has manners. He really enjoyed staying with Grandma and hanging out with Auntie Naya and cousin Brad. He came home kind of lost because he was so used to the action of the dogs at Grandma's house and wrestling around with Brad. Here are some pictures to catch everyone up!
